Types of Software Loggers

There are thousands of keyloggers on the market on the internet and tons of people use these to this day to try and gain valuable information from you without knowing about it. These program applications track your keystrokes once installed and uploaded onto your computer. Most of the time nowadays you won’t even be able to find or trace it once it’s loaded on your computer.  This can be a misery for some people who conduct business online as your passwords will now be vulnerable to the intruder accessing your information.

As technology gets better so do the programmers making these keyloggers. There are many types of keylogger software applications one is local machine software loggers and the other is remote access software loggers. Local machine loggers simply means all the data collected from the keylogger will be stored on this hard drive whereas the remote access logger transmits the information logged to another unknown computer. This is the more popular method with intruders and you have to be careful about what you’re downloading on the internet. They even have wireless submitters so anything that you type on a wireless keyboard can be analyzed. This type of application could cause huge damage if in the wrong hands.

Most of the time you will need to download something encrypted with a keylogger in order to get infected. This is why you should always protect your computer and have the latest anti-virus software uploaded onto your computer. Don’t download files from unknown sources especially if the file is with an .exe extension as this usually doesn’t mean good. There are many software loggers out there but as long as you know the simple details about each one you won’t have a problem with them.
