Is a keylogger completely hidden?
When working with keyloggers a question that most wonder when downloading one to there computer is if the other users will be able to notice that a keylogger was installed on the computer. This question varies with keyloggers as some won’t be completely detectable upon installation.
Usually most brands of keyloggers will have complete stealth mode and it won’t be detectable by other users at all but some of the free keyloggers which you can download will start automatically when you restart the computer which would make it very easy for a user to tell they are being keylogged.
Since most keyloggers are in stealth mode though it’s important you take precautionary matters when trying to access public computers. They could easily be infected with keyloggers and your passwords could be detected very quickly. There are some things you can do about this though and I have talked about at least one method of protecting yourself from public computers in the past. Keyloggers are wide spread now and even teenagers have the capability to download them onto computers. This means that its very likely public computers in your area are being keylogged and you need to make sure you aren’t targeted.
Keyloggers can be used for many illegal things but they were made so people could keep track of what was going on, on their computers. Typically it should be used to find out where your children are viewing websites and also can be used for finding out if your spouse is cheating on you. This again is very sceptical use of a keylogger though and I’ll leave you too decide what you should be using the keyloggers for. Keyloggers are very powerful tools and shouldn’t be taken lightly, to maintain safety of your passwords try to stay away from public computers and also change your passwords often.
