Q: If I use a keylogger, will I be able to see the passwords, or will it show me *****?
A: The answer is short and clear: keyloggers record all keystrokes, so they record passwords not ***.
Keyloggers are very powerful pieces of equipment and they will be able to access all keystrokes made on a computer. This means that the keystrokes made by someone while typing in their password will be recorded for you to view. This is why it’s important you know exactly what you’re trying to download while online because any .exe file could hold a keylogger which would be downloaded to your computer without any warning or notice.
If you’re a worried parent you can easily download a keylogger and have it hidden on your computer. This way you can easily track what your children are doing and you will also have access to their passwords in case you feel the need to take a peek at their accounts. Some children can get themselves into trouble online and you may be saving them by being sneaky.
Make sure your kids know that anything they download could hold harmful programs which could take everyone’s password that uses the computer, and even make them ask you before downloading any programs as most these days are virus filled unless from specified authority sites that can be trusted. Also tell them not to accept downloads from internet friends as most are trying to take advantage of the youth and send malicious spyware onto the computer which could wreck the whole computer. Torrent sites are the worst for finding software with keyloggers attached to the files and I highly recommend you not to use Torrent websites and also let your children be aware of the issues involved with them. They are also illegal and many kids don’t know this and even some parents don’t. Make sure your online experience is safe and keep the spyware and keyloggers far from your computers.
